Our treatment team is composed of Registered Dental Hygienists and Certified Dental Assistants, and each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. Cumulatively, we have over 120 years of dental experience. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars given by such groups as the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, among many others.
Mitzi Hyndshaw, RDH
Hi, my name is Mitzi. Since graduating from Northampton County Community College, I have been active in dental hygiene for the past 30 years. Early in my career, I held office at the local and state levels of the dental hygiene associations, also doing volunteer work at local clinics.
I am happily married to my wonderful, devoted and loving husband, George. Together, we enjoy traveling, shopping and collecting coins, along with my passion for Longaberger Baskets. We enjoy attending golf tournaments and shows at Easton’s State Theater. On occasion, you may find me in a bingo hall or on a casino floor. We are both guilty of spoiling our cat, Spunkee.
For the last 24 years, I have had the privilege to work along with Dr. Birnbaum and his dedicated staff. I have grown in the advancement of dental hygiene under his sharp leadership and from the countless courses taken in continuing education. Hi, my name is Maria and I am a Certified Dental Assistant. I have been part of Dr. Birnbaum’s team for the past 20 years. He is a caring dentist and employer.
I have been happily married for 20 years and have two children: a boy and a girl. They are active in sports and enjoy visiting our office and “prize box” for dental check-ups.

Hi, my name is Mindy. I’ve been with Dr. Birnbaum since 2004. I used to live and practice dental hygiene in New York before moving here in 2002. I am happily married and have three children. When I am not working, I spend time with my family and friends. I have been practicing dental hygiene since 1991 and enjoy it very much.
Cathy Gallagher, CDA, Financial Coordinator
I have been with Dr. Birnbaum since 2003. I grew up in Phillipsburg. In my spare time, I enjoy doing things with my husband. We live in Lower Mt. Bethel and share five children and two grandchildren.
Patti Mazurowski, CDA
I have been a dental assistant with Dr. Birnbaum since 2003. I grew up in Phillipsburg and currently live in Forks Township. I am happily married and have two daughters.
Gianina Raub, Appointment Coordinator
I have been the scheduling coordinator for Dr. Birnbaum since 2003. I have a BA in English, experience working in the medical field and extensive experience working with the public. It is my pleasure to work in such a progressive environment. Not only is Dr. Birnbaum an excellent and personable dentist, but the staff is very friendly and dynamic. The most fulfilling aspect of my job is working with the wonderful patients that are a part of this practice and meeting new patients and their families.
