In October, and again in February, we have received an "Award of Excellence" rating from the independant rating service patientFYI for over all patent satisfaction. Morning Call's reader's choice award for "Best Dentist" & "Best Cosmetic Dentist":
In 2009 we were named the pround recipient of the Morning Call's reader's choice award for the "Best Dentist" and "Best Cosmetic Dentist" in the Lehigh Valley. I want to personally thank everyone who voted for me and our dedicated team. It is impossible to provide excellent dental care without an excellent dental team. I cannot thank Mitzi, Mindy, Gianina, Cathy, Maria and Patti enough for their support.
New State of the Art Digital Panoramic X-ray Machine:
We recently purchased a new state of the art digital panoramic x-ray machine. The new panorex will allow us to take better images, more quickly with 90% less radiation than traditional film based machines. We also purchased a new dental chair for Mitzi's hygiene room which was installed on October 9th. Personally, I purchased new magnifying glasses (telescopes) with a new portable LED light source. The new glasses are lighter, brighter and provide greater magnification than my old telescopes. Seeing better allows me to do better dentistry.
New Appliance for Bruxism (grinding of the teeth) or TMJ:
For our patients who suffer from bruxism (grinding of the teeth) or TMJ (pain to the jaw joint) we have added a new appliance to our therapy choices. This new appliance is called the NTI (www.NTI-TSS.com). This appliance can be fabricated chairside in one visit at a substantially lower fee than appliances we have used previously. Our current fee for this service is $225. Unfortunately, most insurance plans do not cover this procedure.
